Punta Cana Grill - Bowls and Empanadas

This is my go-to food spot in the neighborhood, not only because of the delicious food but their customer service as well. My first experience in ordering was not so great (later found out this was Grubhub's fault), but after that the owner John reached out to me and tried to do whatever he could to make it up-- I truly appreciated the concern and effort, and he totally convinced us to give them a second chance. I'm so glad we did- because the food is phenomenal. Tacos aren't even their specialty and I could eat those chicken tacos ALL day. I'd put that verde sauce on anything & everything. The empanadas are on point, and the plantains taste just like abuelas. If you have a hankering for any sort of Spanish food, this place will absolutely satisfy that craving, and leave you wanting more at the same time- my boyfriend had to talk me out of ordering tacos 3 days in a row. Whatever you order, you will not be disappointed by place!

This was my first time using "grubhub" & my first time ordering from this restaurant. We all loved our food. But in all honesty wasn't crazy about the chicken empanadas. They were very bland, had no flavor. However, the beef empanadas were amazing. Would try the chicken fajitas ones next time. Yes, I said next time! We would absolutely order from here again through grinhub. The food was nice & warm upon arrival. Great service!!

So yummy. I'm addicted to the cana bowl/cana platter with peril and baked chicken, but I want to try the stewed chicken and oxtail, when they have it too. The chicchorones are good. I had the shrimp malfungo too and while the malfungo itself had some dry spots, the shrimp was perfectly good. Juicy even after reheating 45sec

The chicken mofongo was absolutely delicious!!! And the morir soando lived up to its name. They even included all the extra sauces without me having to ask. Iwill be ordering from this restaurant regularly:)

Authentic food. Great quality and flavor. Estimated delivery time was 30-40 minutes but food was delivered in 20! Portions are huge. Beef empanadas are delicious and the red and green sauce are spicy but tasty!

There was an issue with my order and the owner personally called me and resolved it right away. I applaud and was impressed with the professionalism, efficiency, and caring attitude of the owner and his staff.

The quality of the food was fabulous! I cannot wait to order again! Also, The order was correct and the food was on time. Great food!!

I love this place. The food is always fresh and hot when they deliver to you. Plus the pink sauce is phenomenal!!!
